Two more British lawmakers have raised their voice against New Delhi’sbrutal restrictions including a 77-day long curfew in Occupied Jammu andKashmir.
The British members of parliament (MPs) also extended their full supportfor the Kashmiris right of self-determination while addressing a conferencestaged to highlight the Kashmir issue on Sunday, Express Tribune hasreported.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Matt Rodda said that it is unfortunate thatpeople of Kashmir are under continuous curfew for the last 77 days. Hevowed to continue becoming the voice of the Kashmiris.
“In this era of technology, mobile phones and internet are the need of thehour. I was shocked to learn that nine million people in IOK have no accessto internet for the last two and a half months ever since the Indiangovernment abrogated special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5,” MPRodda added.[image: PHOTO: EXPRESS]

MP Dr Phillips Lee, while addressing the conference, said that theworld needs to listen to Kashmiris who demand their right ofself-determination. He also urged the United Nations to implement itsresolutions to settle the issue once and for all.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan, also present onthe occasion, thanked the British lawmakers for supporting the Kashmircause. He also made an appeal to the world community to come forward andensure peace in South Asia.
