Federal government mulls arresting top Opposition leadership

ISLAMABAD – Federal government mulls arresting top Opposition leadership,media report has revealed.

The federal government will review to detain the top leadership ofopposition parties if the talks regarding ‘Azadi March’ of JUI-F chiefFazlur Rehman fail.

According to the details garnered, the opposition parties will meet todayto discuss the matters regarding protest. The Rehbar Committee ofopposition parties has been summoned today on immediate base for discussingthe negotiation with the government.

During the meeting, the terms and condition and demands of talks with thegovernment will also be discussed. They will also decide to strategy aboutthe talks with government over Azadi March.

On the other hand, the federal government announced not to discuss aboutresignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan and mid-term elections with theopposition parties. It said that the top leadership of JUI-F may bedetained if the talks fail.
