ISLAMABAD – Al-Haj FAW Motors has increased the prices of its vehicles byup to Rs. 95,000. This is the second hike from the company in the past fourmonths.
A notification in this regard was issued on Monday, which showed theincrement ranging from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 95,000 on different vehicles.
The new rates will be applicable with immediate effect. The company did notprovide any justification for the revision of prices.
Given below is the updated price list of FAW vehicles:
After the implication of the notification, FAW’s V2 will now cost Rs.1.574million, X-PV (standard) will be available for Rs. 1.209 million, while theAC variant will cost Rs. 1.27 million.
Similarly, FAW Carrier (standard variant) is now available for Rs. 1.74million, whereas flatbed goes for Rs. 1.64 million and deckles for Rs. 1.54million. The Carrier’s EPS variant and the one with 9 ft deck cost Rs. 1.09million.
Note that United has already jacked up the price for its Bravo while PakSuzuki has also revised the prices for its hot-selling Alto 660cc.
Honda and Toyota, on the other hand, feeling the heat of the marketsaturation and have reduced production due to low demand. It remains to beseen whether these companies will revise their vehicle prices as well.
