ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has rejected all pressures from bothpoliticians and bureaucrats to create exceptions in the rotation policy.
PM Khan was under severe pressure over the inter-provincial transferpolicy, for influential civil servants who are reluctant to leave theirchoice regions of posting, Senior journalist Ansar Abbasi has revealed.
However, following the provincial governments’ objection, a change has beenmade in the policy for the inclusion of provinces in the consultationprocess for policy’s implementation.
More than 90 percent of the transfer orders have been implemented, andothers are under the process of implementation while a few have been heldin abeyance because of court orders.
The source said that not even a single transfer order has been cancelled.It is added that now the government is working on second phase of transfersunder which senior police officers will be reshuffled between the provincesand the Centre.
