ISLAMABAD – The Ministry of Interior has decided to revamp the ExitControl List (ECL).
The minstry has recommended to abolish the role of National AccountabilityBureau (NAB) and sought to replace the words ‘competent authority’ withinterior secretary.
The authority to place names on the list should reside with the interiorsecretary instead of cabinet or judiciary and persons under investigationor scrutiny should not be put on ECL, it recommended.
