In the ODI batting rankings, South Africa’sHeinrich Klaasen, who played a destructive inning of 174 runs againstAustralia in the fourth ODI, has risen to the 9th position after a 20-placeimprovement.
During the series against Bangladesh, Shadab Khan scored an excellent 121runs, and against Sri Lanka, he contributed with 27 runs, earning valuablepoints. As a result, Shadab Khan is now close to the current top-ranked ODIbatsman, Babar Azam, making him one of the best ODI players in the currentrankings.
At this moment, Babar Azam holds the first position with 857 points, whileShadab Khan is at the second spot with 814 points. Despite an outstanding29-run innings against Sri Lanka, Babar Azam is only 6 points ahead of thenational team captain.
