ISLAMABAD – A trilateral summit meeting of Pakistan, Malaysia and Turkeywill be held on the General Assembly sidelines.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will lead the Pakistan delegation at summitduring the high-level week of the UN General Assembly Session in New Yorkfrom 21 to 27th of this month.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will also attend the session,interact with his counterparts from various countries, and addressimportant Ministerial meetings, especially the OIC Contact Group on Jammuand Kashmir.
The Prime Minister will hold several bilateral meetings with hiscounterparts from various regions and participate in high-level UN summitson climate change, sustainable development, universal health coverage andfinancing for development. He will also attend and speak at high-level sideevents co-hosted by Pakistan and Turkey on countering hate speech and onenvironmental protection and poverty alleviation, co-hosted by Malaysia andPakistan.
The Prime Minister will deliver his address to the UN General Assembly on27th of this month and share Pakistan’s perspective and position on theJammu and Kashmir dispute and its current human rights and relateddimensions.
