ISLAMABAD – National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has takenimportant decisions over the activities of the NGOs and the welfareorganisations.
NACTA has decided to restrict the activities of all welfare organizationsto stop money laundering and terrorist financing.
Welfare organizations will not be allowed to work at ambiguous projectwhile their activities at sensitive, controversial, and specific placeshave also been restricted.
However, NACTA further added that non-profit organizations will have todeclare their income sources for every activity and project, whiletransparency in overall financial matters will also be necessary.
