Captain (R) Safdar rushed to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology in emergency

*ISLAMABAD – Capt (retd) Muhammad Safdar, the jailed son-in-law of premierNawaz Sharif has been shifted to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology ashe complained of chest pain.*

The PML-N leader was brought to the hospital late Monday night after hecomplained of pain in the chest and stomach. The institute’s CEO, GeneralAzhar Kiyani, will examine Capt (retd) Safdar, after which doctors willdecide whether a surgery will be conducted or not.

On Monday, PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi was also brought to the RawalpindiInstitute of Cardiology after he complained of chest pain. The Control ofNarcotics Substances (CNS) court had convicted Abbasi in the ephedrinequota case on July 22. He has been incarcerated in Adiala jail.
