KARACHI: Allied Bank Limited has received the accolade of “Best Bank inPakistan” at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2018 held recently at JWMarriott, Pacific Place Hong Kong.

Euromoney’s awards for excellence, held since 1992, recognise banks thatdemonstrate an ability to deliver the requisite services to meet diversecustomer needs, while rapidly adapting to evolving market and regulatoryframework.

The awards are independently adjudicated by Euromoney’s team of editors,journalists and researchers; analysing banks’ ability to demonstrategrowth, relative outperformance, compared with peers and the ability toadapt to changing market conditions.

Key distinguishing factors for this award by Euromoney included Allied BankLimited’s robust capital base reflected by industry leading capitaladequacy of 22.4%, during 2017 complemented by lowest loan loss ratio andhighest loan loss coverage amongst the peer banks.
