ISLAMABAD: The Adiala Jail authorities have denied knowledge of any offerfrom the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to pay fine of prisoners,sources told.
The well-placed officials in the government have disclosed that the news,which floated in the media regarding the offer made by Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Sharif to Adiala Jail authorities for payingthe fine of prisoners was baseless.
It was disclosed that no such offer has been made to the jailauthorities from Sharif till Friday.
Senator Pervez Rashid and Senator Mushahid Hussain have denied knowledge ofany such offer made by Sharif to the Jail Authorities.
