In his interview to British Broadcasting Company on Friday, he said that itwould be to sit on opposition benches than shaking hand with PakistanPeoples’ Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Khan said that it would be unfortunate if there if a hung parliament in thecountry, adding that the PTI would try to form government without enteringinto an alliance with PPP or PML-N and if they couldn’t, they would preferto sit in opposition benches.

The PTI chairman said that hung parliaments are always weak, adding thatPakistan needs a strong parliament.

“A stronger government is needed to tackle the kind of economic crisis anddifficulties Pakistan is facing,” he said.
