LAHORE: Meteorological department has predicted the rain on election day asthe new spell of monsoon entering the city as the weather will remaincloudy.
From the Arabian Sea and Bengal, waves of monsoon have entered in Pakistantherefore from Sunday a new spell of rain will start with a thunderstorm inPunjab, KPK, and different areas, the department said.
Met announced that the rain will continue till the end of the week and canaffect the process of polling.
In this connection, PDMA has appointed officers to deal with naturaldisasters and started work to monitor flood and sensitive buildings. On theother hand, Director Local Government has written a letter to the ElectionCommission of Pakistan (ECP) to avoid the mismanagement on election day.
