San Francisco: Twitter has introduced another feature of voice notesenabling Tweeple to add more to the conversation in their tweets.

“Over the years, photos, videos, gifs, and extra characters have allowedyou to add your own flair and personality to your conversations. Butsometimes 280 characters aren’t enough and some conversational nuances arelost in translation. So starting today, we’re testing a new feature thatwill add a more human touch to the way we use Twitter – your very ownvoice,” said official blog.

Tweeting with voice is not too different from Tweeting with text. To start, open the Tweet composer and tap the new icon with wavelengths. The userwill see his/her profile photo with the record button at the bottom – tapthis to record the voice.

“Each voice Tweet captures up to 140 seconds of audio. Have more to say?Keep talking. Once you reach the time limit for a Tweet, a new voice Tweetstarts automatically to create a thread. Once you’re done, tap the Donebutton to end your recording and go back to the composer screen to Tweet.”

People will see voice Tweet appear on their timeline alongside otherTweets. To listen, tap the image.
