Atleast Two Indian Army soldiers killed in a deadly attack on the Military Camp in Occupied Kashmir

NEW DELHI – Atleast Two Indian Army soldiers killed in a deadly attack onthe Military Camp in Occupied Kashmir.

Internet services remain suspended in Jammu and Kashmir’s capital Srinagarafter the Indian army launched a strike on militants in the downtown areaof the city on 19 May.

Militants attacked a Border Security Force camp in Jammu andKashmir’s Pandach arealink,near Soura in Srinagar on Wednesday. Initial reports says two securitypersonnel died while another is critically injured.

According to reports, two militants on motorcycles attacked a securitypatrol. The militants sprayed bullets, resulting in serious injuries tothree security personnel. They were rushed to SKIMS hospital, however, twowere declared dead on arrival.

The attack comes after two militants were killed by security forces onTuesday. Three security personnel were injured and several houses wereburnt as a consequence of bombing and a gunfight in the Nawakadal areaof Srinagaron Tuesday.link

​On Monday night, an incident occurred between militants and securitypersonnel when the latter surrounded a few houses in response to intel.Following the encounter, mobile and internet services remain suspended inthe region.

Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a rise in militant activities throughout April,with at least 19 security personnel killed.
