*RAWALPINDI – Polish Armed Forces Commander Lieutenant General JaroslawMika acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s professionalism, effortsin fight against terrorism and contributions towards regional peace andstability.*
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Jaroslaw Mika visitedthe General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, where he called upon Chief ofArmy Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday.

“Issues of mutual interest including defence, training and securitycooperation between the two armies were discussed,” the ISPR said.
Earlier, on arrival at GHQ, the commander of the Polish armed forces laidfloral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A contingent of Pakistan Army presentedthe guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
A daye arlier, Ambassador of China to Pakistan Yao Jing has called on Chiefof Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwaat at GHQ in Rawalpindi.

Earlier on Saturday, *COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa*linkvisitedtroops on forward posts along Pak-Afghan border at Dawatoi in NorthWaziristan.
According to a press release issued by the ISPR, COAS was briefed aboutprogress on border fencing, sanitisation operation, socio-economicdevelopment projects and rehabilitation of TDPs.
