RAWALPINDI – Indian troops initiated unprovoked cease fire violation alongWorking Boundary targeting civil population with mortars and heavy weaponsin Harpal and Charwah Sector since early Monday morning.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan RangersPunjab is effectively responding and targeting those Indian posts whichinitiated fire.
However, intermittent fire continues.
Earlier, atleast four people were killed on Friday from “unprovoked” Indianfiring across Working Boundary in Sialkot.
The ISPR statement said that Indian forces targeted Harpal, Charwah, BajraGarhi and Akhnor sector.
As a result of the firing, Noor Hussain’s 40-year-old wife Kulsoom Bibi andher three children 18-year-old Shama Naz, 14-year-old Ali Hamza and10-year-old Muskan was killed while 10 civilians were injured.
According to Foreign Office, the Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan AjayBisaria was summoned by the acting foreign secretary today to condemn theunprovoked and continuing ceasefire violations along the LoC and WorkingBoundary.
