BUREWALA: Two policemen were seriously injured in firing of an unidentifiedarmed motorcyclist who sped the scene here on Sunday.

According to details, two armed men riding a motorcycle sprayed bullets atpolice team while it was on routine patrolling near Haji Kot area ofBurewala. The attackers fled the scene after committing the crime.

The injured cops were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital whereone policeman was referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan due to criticalcondition.

The police cordoned off the area after the attack and launched operationfor unidentified assailants. A case was also registered against unknownculprits and investigation was underway.
