NEW DELHI – An Indian Malayali singer Shanavaz who had collapsed whileperforming on the stage in Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram state of Kerala,has died.
The singer was rushed to the hospital and an emergency surgery wasperformed on him at the medical college hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.However, he died in the wee hours on Tuesday, reports the Manorama Onlinelink>.
Shanavaz is survived by his wife and two daughters.
The singer was performing a duet number at stage show when he sat on theedge of the stage along with the female singer and suddenly fell off thestage.
Assuming Shanavaz was just playing a prank, the female singer continuedsinging during the show. But when members from the audience noticed therewas no movement and that Shanavaz was lying still, they raised an alarm.
The singer is very popular through live stage show performances.
