The officials are saying that the explosion has also left at least 52others wounded amid fears that the death toll could further rise.
Preliminary reports indicate the loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq andSyria (ISIS) terrorist group has claimed responsibility behind the attack.
The Taliban group had earlier said the militants of the group have linkswith the explosion in Kabul city today.
