Sources said that Prime Minsiter Imran Khan decided to appoint him asAttorney General after consulting his legal team.
Earlier on Thursday, Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Anwar Mansoor Khanresigned from his post. He submitted his resignation letter to PresidentArif Alvi.
