ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has lodged strong protest with India about a Pakistaniprisoner beaten to death in Indian jail.
Foreign Office spokesperson said safety of Pakistani prisoners in Indianjails is the responsibility of the Government of India which should havetaken enhanced measures to prevent this.
The Spokesman said the Indian government must provide enhanced security toensure safety of all Pakistanis, especially Pakistani prisoners in Indianjails to ensure prevention of recurrence of such tragic and reprehensibleincidents.
