*LAHORE – New developments have been reported in the brutal encounter bythe CTD Punjab in Sahiwal.*
*The names of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel, involvedin an alleged encounter in Sahiwal, have been revealed.*
According to the sources privy to the development, the CTD team was led bySub-Inspector (SI) Safdar Hussain.
“Ahsan, Muhammad Ramzan, Saifullah and Hasnain Akbar were also accompaniedSafdar Hussain,” the First Information Report (FIR) of the incident read.
The personnel opened shots at the vehicle from front and both sides, inwhich the family was travelling in, the sources said.
The claim of the CTD party proved ‘wrong’ that the persons travelling inthe car retaliated with Kalashnikov.

“No evidence of firing from the car was reported,” said sources.
The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was not called on by the CTD team after theshootout despite claims of recovering explosives from the custody of thedeceased.
The sources further revealed that the crime scene was clear without takingevidence.
