Pakistan's three ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 fixtures have been rescheduled: the Pakistan-India match in Ahmedabad, originally set for October 15, will now take place a day earlier; the Pakistan-Sri Lanka match in Hyderabad has been moved from October 12 to October 10, and the match against defending champions England in Kolkata will be played on November 11 instead of November 12.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 warmup match between Pakistan and New Zealand scheduled for September 29 in Hyderabad, India, will take place behind closed doors due to insufficient security arrangements.

An Indian news agency reported that the Hyderabad Police requested the Hyderabad Cricket Association to reschedule the matches, as they would be responsible for security during the Eid-e-Milad-Un-Nabi (S.A.W) and Ganesh Visarjan festivals, which conclude on September 28. However, their request for rescheduling was denied, as nine matches had already been rescheduled. Consequently, the Pakistan-New Zealand match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium will be held without spectators, and ticket holders will receive refunds.
