Inzamam ul Huq to resign from the post of PCB Chief Selector of Pakistan Team

After disagreements with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pakistan's former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq may resign from the position of Chief Selector. According to reports, Inzamam-ul-Haq is unhappy with the appointment of Shahid Anwar as the head coach of the Under-19 team.

It is reported that Inzamam wanted to appoint former Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf as the head coach of the Under-19 team. This is not the first time Inzamam and the PCB have failed to find common ground, as they had disagreements in the past as well.

Inzamam recently signed a monthly contract worth 2.5 million Pakistani rupees with the PCB. At the beginning of this month, Inzamam-ul-Haq was appointed as the chairman of the Junior Men's Cricket Selection Committee, having previously served as the head of the senior selection committee.

A four-member senior selection committee includes Tauseef Ahmed, Wajahatullah Wasti, and Wasim Haider. The seven-member junior selection committee includes Amir Nazir, Javed Hayat, Mahmood Hamid, Naveed Latif, Salman Ahmed, and Sanaullah Baloch.

Last month, former captain Mohammad Hafeez also announced his resignation from the PCB's technical committee, thanking Chairman Zaka Asharf and expressing good wishes for Pakistan cricket. Hafeez's decision to resign from the committee came less than two months after his appointment.
