LONDON - Former finance minister Ishaq Dar has reportedly filed an application for political asylum in the United Kingdom
According to media report, the PML-N leader visited British Home Office to inform them about cancellation of his passport by Pakistani authorities and he also applied for asylum.
Reports added that Ishaq Dar recently visited the Home Office in order to update the authorities about his current status and to explain his situation after having been left stateless post-cancellation of his passport by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government.
