ISLAMABAD - Caretaker Minister for Information, Broadcasting and Law Affairs Barrister Ali Zafar has said shuffling in bureaucracy at the federal level is imperative.
Talking to a private TV channels, he said work in this regard is in progress and the matter is being discussed with the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Barrister Ali Zafar said the process to reshuffle bureaucracy is difficult and time consuming.
Commenting on PTI chief Imran Khan’s letter regarding shuffling of bureaucrats in the provinces, he said that it is domain of chief ministers and federal government has no role in it.
He said the focus of interim government is on ensuring transparent elections in the country.
Meanwhile, Election Commission has accorded approval for transfers and postings of three secretaries, six commissioners, thirty-three deputy commissioners and various sub divisional police officers in Balochistan province.
The ECP has also accorded approval for transfer and postings of fourteen secretaries, six commissioners, thirty-three deputy commissioners, two additional inspectors general of police, 14 deputy inspectors general of police and various superintendents of police in Sindh province.
