MULTAN: Former captain Pakistan Cricket Team Wasim Akram inaugurated Sports Complex here at Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU).
Speaking on this occasion, Wasim Akran said there was immense talent in the youth of South Punjab. He heaped praise on Inzimam-ul-Haq, and stated that Inzimam was a big name in international cricket.
Wasim remarked that physical fitness was vital for career of any player. He urged students to participate in sports activities as these activities would help them improving their mental and physical health.
He hoped that Sports Complex at BZU would help in grooming new talent, and the emerging talent would brighten the name of varsity as well as country at international level.
Professor Dr Tariq Mahmood Ansari, Prof Dr Abdul Qadus Sohaib, Professor Dr Muhammad Ashraf Khan, Dr Farrukh Arsalan, Tars Mohiyuddin, Abida Khan and Zain Baloch were also present.
