ISLAMABAD- In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, protests will be held after Friday prayers, tomorrow (Friday), against blasphemous act by a BJP leader and rowdyism of cow vigilantes in the territory.
The call for protests has been given by All Parties Hurriyat Conference.
In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman strongly condemned the blasphemous act and beating of two Muslim farmers by Hindu extremists in Reasi district.
He said such acts reflect fascist and communal mind-set of Hinduvta forces in India.
The spokesman said these Hindutva forces are doing all this under a well-planned strategy to provoke Muslims to retaliate and then punish them in the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, more protests were held against sacrilegious remarks against the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Rasool Allah Khatam-un-Nabiyyin Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam by BJP leader, Satpal Sharma in Reasi district of Jammu region.
Thousands of protesters including traders took out rallies in different areas of Kashmir valley and Jammu region including Srinagar, Kupwara, Gandarbal and Badgam and demanded death sentence to culprits involved in hurting sentiments of Muslims.
Activists of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum during a protest in Lal Chowk, Srinagar urged international community to take notice of rising tide of Islamophobia in India.
