ISLAMABAD: Salman Akram Raja Advocate Thursday said the Supreme Court verdict for formation of a joint investigation team had endorsed the defendents stance of holding an inquiry into the Panama Papers.

Speaking to reporters here outside outside the Supreme Court, he said it been the respondents stance from day one that a thorough investigation be made into the matter and ultimately the Supreme Court did so.

Salman Raja, who was counsel for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's sons, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz in the Panama Papers case, said the majority judges' decision would prevail as the dissident notes by two judges had no legal value. (APP)
