ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Board-in-Council decided in principal to establish Council of Complaints that would be tasked to scrutinize the serious complaints filed against the officers or officials of the board.
"The Board-in-Council while discussing operational strategy of Integrity and Performance Unit (IPMU) of FBR approves in principle establishment of "Council of Complaints", said FBR notification issued here.
The Council would be headed by a senior Member of the Board alongwith Member (IR-Ops), Member (Customs) and Member (Administration), the statement added. (APP)
