ISLAMABAD: The Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan has issued a Notice toAirmen (NOTAM) restricting airspace over the Muzaffargarh Artillery Range(OP/R241) ahead of scheduled training and live firing exercises.
The restriction will remain in effect from November 24 to November 30,2025, covering the designated area from ground level up to Flight Level 150(15,000 feet).
Civilian and commercial aircraft have been advised to avoid the zone duringoperational hours, which are set daily from 0800 to 1700 Pakistan StandardTime.
The temporary closure aims to ensure safety during intensive artillery andweapons training conducted by the Pakistan Army in the designated rangelocated in southern Punjab.
Authorities stated that the measures are routine and part of regularmilitary preparedness activities. Pilots have been directed to consultlatest aeronautical updates before flight planning.
Similar NOTAMs are periodically issued for training ranges across thecountry to prevent incidents during live-fire drills.
