Panama Papers case in SC: Aitzaz Ahsan decision on PTI plea

ISLAMABAD: Panama Papers case in Supreme Court of Pakistan is going to be heard on November 29 but the PTI hunt for the lawyer has not been successful yet.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has cleared on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) that he’d be willing to provide free advice in Panama Leaks case but wasn’t ready to fight the case in the court.

PTI’s hunt for a good lawyer is not over yet as Aitzaz didn’t give the green signal to the party. According to PTI sources, Aitzaz won’t be fighting the case. Sources told that Aitzaz will keep himself limited to advice only and he had made it clear on PTI as well.

Meanwhile, PPP sources told Dunya News that Aitzaz wasn’t willing to take the case to Supreme Court. Moreover, Aitzaz will also need the approval of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari before making any big decision regarding the case.
