She faced severe criticism from social media users for expressingher views on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Mustehsan, on the socialnetworking site X (formerly Twitter), said, “I mourn the loss of my Jewishfriends’ lives.
I stand equally with the Muslim and Christian people of Palestine whosecountless lives are being taken daily.” She questioned, “How many morelives will be lost? Imparting social consequences to oppressors and theoppressed is against humanity.”
Following this statement, social media users expressed anger and drew astrong comparison to American model Bella Hadid, who has consistentlysupported Palestine without fear.
