The government has decided to collect eleven lakh rupees per pilgrim underthe official Hajj scheme. The Federal Cabinet has also approved the Hajjpolicy for 2024 and decided to continue the sponsorship scheme next year toreduce the burden of dollars.
The expenditure on the Hajj in 2024 will be thirty-one million dollars, andten thousand pilgrims will be able to perform Hajj under the sponsorshipscheme.
Money for Hajj expenses under this scheme will be collected in dollars.
