Islamabad: General Bajwa’s close relative Sabir Mitho, has been summoned byFIA Lahore in a money laundering case. He is considered very close toformer COAS and earlier a report had surfaced that he had gathered a lot ofproperties in his family name while working in DHA land acquisitionprojects across Pakistan while former COAS was in chair.
According to the notes issued by the FIA, Sabir Hamid has been asked toprovide details of foreign trips, income tax returns, and business detailsfrom 2016 to 2023.
The FIA has also requested details of Sabir Hamid and his family’s offshorecompanies. General (Retired) Bajwa’s close relative has also been asked toprovide details of their properties and vehicles.
