RAWALPINDI: Indian Army soldiers killed and two bunkers destroyed byPakistan Army retaliatory fire at LoC, ISPR has reported.
Nine soldiers of the Indian army were killed and many others injured whenPakistan Army troops gave a “befitting response” to Indian ceasefireviolations in Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri Khuiratta and Kotkhetera TattaPani sectors along the Line of Control, director general of theInter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
According to DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, firing by Indian troopsmartyred one Pakistani soldier and two civilians.
“Two soldiers and five civilians were injured in cross-border firing,” thestatement said.
“Indian unprovoked CFVs in Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri Sectors deliberatelytargeting civilians. Effectively responded. Nine Indian soldiers killedseveral injured,” DG ISPR said.
He added two Indian bunkers were also destroyed in firing by Pakistanisoldiers.
