The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is expected to release thegeneral election schedule in September 2023 to eliminate uncertainty.Sources indicate that the election is likely to take place in the finalweek of January 2024, based on the anticipated schedule, which has alreadybeen submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has dismissed the possibilityof election delays due to security concerns along Pakistan’s borders,assuring that necessary measures will be taken to ensure a smooth anddisruption-free democratic process.
