ISLAMABAD – Two New Oil and Gas Reserves have been discovered in SindhPakistan, Private media has reported.
United Energy of Pakistan has discovered two major oil and gas reserves inGolarchi, the number of oil and gas reserves has increased to 8, and thesearch for more oil and gas reserves is underway in the area. According tomedia reports, private company United Energy of Pakistan has discovered twomajor oil and gas reserves near Khorawah area of Golarchi.
It is said that further exploration of oil and gas reserves is underway inGolarchi. Pakistan had been searching for reserves in the area for a longtime. Additionally, the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL)discovered new oil and gas reserves in Kohat.
These reservoirs were discovered in Chandavel 5, where, during preliminarytests and analyzes, it was found that the new reservoir would generate 76barrels of oil and 512,000 cubic feet of gas per day.

This is the first discovery in the Virgil Formation at Chanda Oilfield.According to the Oil and Gas Development Company, the well has been dug upto 5440 meters deep. About three dozen reserves of natural gas and oil havebeen discovered earlier in the Malammal Kohat Division.
Remember that there are gas reserves in the sea at the Kekra site, but theforeign company failed to extract the gas reserves.
