ISLAMABAD – Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has spoken over the issueof names of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz removal from ECL.

“The names of Nawaz and [his daughter] Maryam Nawaz will not be removedfrom the Exit Control List,” he said at a press briefing on Thursday.

He said this applied to people such as former finance minister Ishaq Darand Nawaz Sharif’s sons, Hassan and Hussain. “There will be no deal overthis.”

PM Imran Khan or the PTI don’t have a personal beef with Nawaz and Maryam.“We are custodian of the Pakistan’s treasury,” he said.

He remarked that the wealth “looted” by former prime minister Nawaz Sharifand other people should be brought back.
