LONDON -Former legendry cricketer Misbah ul Huq is likely to be givenimportant responsibility in Pakistan Cricket.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to consult recently retiredcricketers, with regards to the coaching of young cricketers.
The PCB chairman Ehsan Mani and Managing Director (MD) Wasim Khan wants touse the services of cricketers that have played modern-day cricket, togroom the upcoming talent.
According to sources, former captain and member of cricket committeeMisbahul Haq is likely to be entrusted with more responsibility after theongoing 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup.
PCB had earlier offered Mohammad Yousuf, Younis Khan and Misbah to workwith the Under-19 team, however the board failed to reach an agreement withthe former cricketers.
Once entrusted with the authority to appoint coaches, Wasim is likely towork towards convincing former cricketers to work at the National cricketacademy (NCA) in Lahore and with the youth cricket teams.
