QUETTA – Four terrorists were killed in an operation carried outby Provincial Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) at Teramal locality ofDusht in the outskirts of Quetta on Wednesday morning.
According to the security forces spokesperson, four security personnel werealso injured during the operation.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Abdul Razzak Cheema and CommandantFC Colonel Rab Nawaz while addressing a press conference told theterrorists were involved in the terrorist activities and target killings ofthe Levies personnel.
“Our fight is against terrorists and the frequency of this war hasincreased after May 15,” Abdul Razzak Cheema further added.
He further told the media the six security personnel and a labourer wereinjured in the incident. A child also lost his life in the crossfire, heinformed. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.
Meanwhile, a sub-inspector police was injured and his son and father weremartyred when unknown terrorists opened fire on a police vehicle in Quettaon Wednesday.
