ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan will address World Economic Forumtoday via video link. He will speak about the impact of coronavirus onPakistan’s economy.
According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend anemergency session of the World Economic Forum on May 20 (today).
Imran Khan would speak about the impact of coronavirus on Pakistan’seconomy and the measures to protect the poor people through hisgovernment’s Ehsaas Programme.
PM Khan would apprise the forum of how to aid millions of Pakistanis inthese difficult economic situations.

The World Economic Forum is the International Organization forPublic-Private Cooperation which engages the foremost political, business,cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional andindustry agendas. The WEF hosts an annual meeting at the end of January inDavos, a mountain resort in Graubünden.
Let it be known that earlier in January this year, Prime Minister Imran Khanlinkaddressedthe annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The prime minister spoke about how his government had undertaken theBillion Tree Tsunami project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, referring to it as “oneof the most successful campaigns across the country.” PM Imran said hisprovincial government in 2013 had taken the initiative to involve localcommunities in the campaign to plant more trees.
The Prime Minister has also met with several world leaders and businessleaders on the side lines of the Prime Minister’s meeting, including USPresident Donald Trump.Addressing the Pakistan Strategy Dialogue thismorning, the Prime Minister said that we have decided not to be part of anywar anymore.
