ISLAMABAD:
Internet speed will suffer a decline due to power reconfiguration on asection of one of its six international submarine cables on April 21.
According to a notification issued by the Pakistan TelecommunicationsAuthority (PTA), some consumers could face bandwidth problems or slow speedas a result of the work at the SMW-4 cable, which is expected to commenceat 2pm and will continue till 7pm.

However, alternative measures will be put in place to meet the bandwidthrequirements and provide fully functional and uninterrupted internetservices to the customers as soon as possible.
