ISLAMABAD – Senior Civilian Representative of NATO for Afghanistan,Nicholas Kay has urged all the involved parties in the country to expeditepeace efforts.
He said he sees a good opportunity for peace in Afghanistan and urged theinvolved parties to remain patient because reaching peace will take time.
He labeled the Taliban’s spring offensive disappointing and said NATO wantsthe level of violence to decrease and that the group should not concentrateon fighting right now.
