ISLAMABAD – Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major GeneralAsif Ghafoor has said brave tribes of FATA have achieved peace andstability after a lot of hardships and sacrifices.
In a tweet, he said restoration of normal life after kinetic operation ispart of ‘clear-hold-build-transfer’ strategy.
He said the state including security forces are committed to rehabilitatethe affected population.
He said it is time to be aware of inimical forces trying to createuncertainty but shall never succeed in their designs.
Major General Asif Ghafoor said Affected North Waziristan Agency tradersshall have a meeting with local civil – military and FATA secretariatrepresentatives on Sunday to discuss their genuine issues. He said economicrehabilitation of tribes is our priority. He said mainstreaming of FATA iskey to their empowerment and prosperity.
