KABUL- An improvised explosive device explosion left several civilians deador wounded in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan earlier today.

The incident took place in the vicinity of Haska Mina district after acivilian vehicle struck with an improvised explosive device planted on aroadside.

The provincial government media office in a statement said at least fivecivilians including a child were killed and nine others were wounded.

The statement further added that four children and two women were amongthose wounded in the explosion.
