ISLAMABAD: Federal ministers and PML-N leaders consultative meeting over the formation of inquiry commission was held under the chairmanship of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar here at today in PM House.
As per details, Ishaq Dar chaired the federal minister’s important meeting over the formation of inquiry commission to probe into Panama Leaks issue. Federal ministers Saad Rafique, Ahsan Iqbal, Pervaiz Rashid and other participated in the meeting.
The meeting decided to take parliamentary leaders into confidence over the formation of Panama Leaks inquiry commission. Announcement of Panama Leaks inquiry commission would be made after consultation with parliamentary leaders.
The meeting also reviewed the conditions and suggestions, presented by Justice Sarmad Jalal to lead the Inquiry Commission while matters related to preparation of Terms of Reference and regulations also came under discussion in the meeting.
Federal ministers vowed to make all possible efforts to counter the propaganda of opponents for destabilization of Pakistan.
Sources claimed that Justice Sarmad put some conditions before government to lead the inquiry commission saying that he should be provided with a team of capable officers to head this commission.
