ISLAMABAD – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Malaysian PrimeMinister Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad are scheduled to visit Pakistan inMarch on the invitation of Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Imran Khan.
Importantly, Malaysian PM Mahathir is likely to attend in the Pakistan Dayparade on March 23 as a guest of honour.
Along with him, a delegation of traders and investors will also visitPakistan for potential opportunities of business.
Furthermore, Malaysia is likely to abolish an import duty on Pakistan’sedible oil.
Moreover, several agreements are likely to be inked between Pakistan andTurkey as Turkey has expressed interest in investment on China-PakistanEconomic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
According to sources, major defence deals could also be achieved betweenPakistan and Turkey.
Pakistan celebrates March 23 every year as its National Day to commemoratethe adoption of the Pakistan Resolution by the Muslim League in Lahore onthis day in 1940 that called for establishing an independent country forthe Muslims of sub-continent.
