KABUL – In Afghanistan, nine policemen have been killed in separate attacksby militants in western and eastern parts of the country.

Spokesman for the Governor Farah province, Mohammad Naser Mehri said in astatement that two police checkpoints came under attack overnight, one inBala Buluk district and one near Farah city.

He also said that thirteen militants were also killed in the fight.

So far, No one claimed responsibility for the attacks.
